Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2025 Lorain Puerto Rican Parade.
This is a great opportunity for your group or organization to share our heritage, talents and pride within our community. The theme of the parade is Puerto Rican Heritage and Culture and where possible, units are asked to represent this culture in colorful displays, costumes, music and especially floats.
Please complete the form below with information about your unit. Read the guidelines for participation by clicking HERE. You will receive confirmation via email prior to the parade. Units must meet the participating guidelines and your unit leader must be willing to work closely with the parade chairs prior to the event.
ATTENTION VEHICLES WITH AUDIO: We have partnered with WOBL/WDLW to have a curated playlist be played across all vehicles in the parade. You will be required to tune your radio to the station in order to play music during the parade.
Commercial companies / businesses / political entries are required to pay an entry fee of $50. If your company is a parade sponsor the fee is waived.
Private car club pay $25 entry fee plus $10 per vehicle. Maximum number of cars is 5
Motorcycle clubs pay $25 plus $10 per bike. Only the 5 best car/motorcycles per club are allowed. Contact the parade charis for details. NO wheelies, tire burns, or reving engines is allowed and may cause for termination of particiaption in the Parade and or being excluded from future events.
The Puerto Rican Festival & Parade is a volunteer committee under the umbrella of "The Friends of South Lorain", a non-profit organization and monetary donations from participating groups are greatly appreciated. Contributions are tax deductible.
